Contest Specifics:
1) Seasonal Contest Dates May 12 – August 25, 2006
2) Weekly Contests run from Tuesday – Monday 5pm
3) Weekly winners will be posted @ Gateway General on Thursdays & in the Voyageur Sentinel on Saturdays.
Custom hats will be awarded to 1st place in each species category at Gateway.
4) Seasonal winners will be announced on 104.1 live radio broadcast on August 31st.
a) Plaques for Trophy Fish Winners
b) Drawings for Savings Bonds from All Weekly Winners
c) Drawings for Merchandise from all pictures (Fish pictures or other Fun Activities) submitted to Gateway.
Contest Qualifications:
1) Fish must be caught in Kabetogama, Ash River or Namakan
2) Lengths=Weights from the MN DNR Regulation Book, Pg. 76
Walleyes > 20” or 3 lbs.
Northerns > 30” or 6.4 lbs.
Small Mouth Bass > 15” or 2.1 lbs.
3) Fish caught & kept must be weighed & registered at Gateway General during business hours (6am-10pm).
4) Fish caught & released must be measured, witnessed & a picture submitted to Gateway General. Released Fish will be submitted in the contest during the week the picture is submitted, though all statistics must be submitted at the time of catch and release.
